Importing Yahoo Finance Data
This guide will walk through how to pull data from the Yahoo Finance API and put it directly into Google Sheets.
Because Yahoo Finance does not support an official API, there are unofficial approaches that will need to be used.
Two methods are as followed:
Method 1: Use the unofficial Yahoo Finance API in the RapidAPI marketplace.
Method 2: (Not Recommended). Use https://finance.yahoo.com/. This method is free to access data, but it was not designed for public data requests. No documentation is readily available or can be difficult to understand.
